German Airborne
Call Of Duty PS2 question?
In Call Of Duty Finest Hour the instruction manual/booklet has little "facts" at the bottom of the pages. One of these says:
"During the Battle of the Bulge, the 101st Airborne Division became surrounded at Bastogne. Brigadier General McAuliffe answered the German demand for surrender with the one-word reply "Nuts!" and the Screaming Eagles fought on until the siege was lifted. His reply had to be explained both to the Germans and to non-American Allies."
Can someone explain it to me? Is it like if a British soldier had replied with "Bollocks!" or is it something else?
it means that he doesn't care about anything anymore. he has a sudden change of heart and he becomes loved again by the monsters in his nightmares.
