Atlantic Star
How about the Atlantic Division?
Once again, I think my Raptors will be underrated and nobody will talk about them until we make the playoffs. And we'll be repeating as division champs. Bosh will be voted as starting PF in the All-Star game over KG. Everyone can talk about the Knicks and Celtics and even the Nets all they want, but Raptors are the team to beat in the East. (along with Bulls, Cavs, Pistons)
Heres the Atlantic division breakdown:
1. Raptors - Ford, Bargnani, Bosh - best trio in the east
2. Knicks - yeah, they'll make an improvement from last year, but not because of Zach
3. Nets - JKidd is old now, he won't carry his team with triple-d's
4. Celtics - Pierce, Ray, KG - one of them is bound to get injured and miss half the season
5. Sixers - Andre Iguodala will be an All-Star
1. Boston - KG, Allen, Pierce best trio in the league
2. Toronto - Lots of improvment from within
3. Nets - J Kidd has no where to go but down
4. Knicks - Slowest front court ever, no interior D
5. Sixers - In process of rebuilding around AI2
I am also a raptors fan and up until the KG trade i thought we were gonna easily win the conference. I also agree with you that the raps are right up there and able to compete with the Bulls, Pistons, and Cavs. (The Bulls and Pistons are still a bit better, but not for long)
Since the KG trade tho, Boston becomes the team to beat. You just cannot deny the amazing potential that team has in the short term. Also, Boston will now be the hungriest team in the NBA by far casue they will have 3 superstars. They know that if they do not win a title in the next 3 years they will not get one.
If one of Boston's big three does get badly injured, I would place them in 2nd however
