Introducing older dog jealous of new hyper puppy!?

Ok Heres my problem, I have a mixture of 1 1 / 2 years Dachshund old, Maggie. She currently lives with my grandfather German Shepherd mix! She loves him but tyrants like crazy! Shes very dominant! So we found £ 6 a chihuahua, Milo and we head into an apartment soon! I've left out so far because every time it gets close to him, she growls as she wants to tear it! Milo has no aggression problems at all and is dying to meet her! But its tail is wagging like crazy! I know she wants to meet him but he is very protective of his family and home! How can I introduce them to kill him without it? It is very protective of me, even with Buddy the German Shepherd mix! She will pounce on him if I'm giving them lots of attention! I'm afraid it Milo will hurt! Any advice would be great! Thank you in advance! Normally when introducing a new pet that you let them. There is usually a little growling and snapping. Ll just work order pack. However, in this case I think you have a problem. She's already aggressive to other dogs and is more protective of you. I bet when she pounces on German Shepherd, you stop giving him attention and go to it. It is saying that it is pack leader. You may grumble about isolate it and to show that it is not the boss. If it is too overprotective of the house, which shows that she feels as pack leader. You should be the protection of one, as the pack leader. So that will be worked on very quickly. Every time she shows aggression, or that is the boss, take him to a room where she is by herself and leave it there. Just a roar, not to scream, just a growl. Just because his tail is wagging does not mean she wants to be friendly. A wagging tail means that it is ready to respond. You can often tell by the rest of body language what she wants to do. Before you bring a puppy home, you need to make sure she knows she is not pack leader. Especially one so small.
