How Should I Handle My Bad Dude Neighbor?
I accidentally stumbled across the fact that my new neighbor is most likely some kind of spook (Working for the USA, quite patriotic actually). He had the dumbest cover story that I have ever heard, and I was pretty disparaging about it, though I didn't accuse him of anything, I just said that I didn't buy his stupid story.
Anyway, he said that he wanted to speak to me alone some day when I am walking by. I fear that he may threaten me with the Official Secrets Act or something similar, telling me not to say anything to anybody or I could go to jail.
Supposing this happens, what is a good response? This is a free country, so anybody can say anything, right? Right now, I have the power because I suspect his secret. I obviously don't want him to have the power because he could send me to jail.
So what should I say if he starts mouthing off about the Official Secrets Act or similar BS?
Tell him you're not interested. If he gets pushy then point your finger in his chest and tell him if he doesnt shut up you'll go call the FBI on him. Then turn around and walk away. Do call the FBI if he tries to force "Official Secrets" on you.
