How much are original Stars and Stripes newspapers worth from ww2?
I have A front page of a Stars and Stripes newspaper from ww2 of the headline reading FDR DEAD, I have the full HITLER DEAD paper, and VICTORY about Germany surrender. I didnt know if they were worth anything, they are a little cracked around the edges but in pretty good condition. and how should i store them?

I've been collecting newspapers for a number of years and it really depends on what's in them and their condition, and which edition (Ie MTO, London, etc etc). The full copy of the 04/13/45 MTO edition of "FDR Dead" is going for around $78 in good condition so just the front page would be a lot less. The 05/10/45 MTO edition of Germany Surrendering is going for $55. The death of Benito Mussolini edition is going for $67 so I would suppose the Hitler edition would go for more, but it's hard to say.
As odd as it may seem, newspapers made before 1880 are easier to store then the later ones. I have one from the 1600's that is in better condition then a lot from WW1 due to the type of paper they are printed on (cotton vs wood pulp)
In regards to storing, from the 2nd link below:
"That means storing the papers in archival quality polyethylene bags and then storing the bagged papers in archival boxes. With this double-protection the box then needs to be stored in a cool, dry environment such as a closet in an air-conditioned home. Avoid temperature and humidity extremes found in basements or attics; if it is uncomfortable for you it will be uncomfortable for your stored newspapers."
I've done a lot of business with the first link so I know they are reputable. They sell folders and portfolios I store my papers in. It's handy as it protects them but also allows you to pull them out to show people.
