Uniform Studio
Called around a few ballet studios?
Asked the general questions. Uniform and such. The one studio that really appeals to me has a uniform requirements for boys/men to wear the following. A white T-shirt or leotard. Black tights. Black ballet shoes. And a dancebelt. Not sure exactly how im suppose to wear a leotard and whats a dancebelt
The instructor did emphasize that shed prefer that males wear a leotard to better see the body. I am a male.
I have attached a link to a dance wear website that shows a bunch of options for mens dance wear including leotards. Men do wear leotards and then they have thick black tights (almost like leggings) that go over top of them so you don't have to worry about being covered.
Also a dance belt is not a belt of any kind, it is actually the undergarment that men wear while dancing to ensure that everything is protected and stays in place. The second website I put under my sources shows examples of these as well.
